Itinerary

In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Lake Ugii (Ögii nuur), which is a freshwater lake in east Arkhangai in Central Mongolia. It is particularly rich in various waterfowl. The possibility of swimming, sunbathing, horseback riding and hiking. On the way we will visit the fort complex of Khar Bukhiin Balgas (ruins).

Proceed to Tsetserleg town, where we visit the holy temple of Zayin Gegee, which is beautifully situated in front of Bulgan Mountain. After that, we drive to Khorgo National Park, which includes the extinct Khorgo Volcano and the beautiful Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake.

Today, all day we stay here in the national park and make an excursion to the Khorgo volcano, whose peak offers an impressive view. If you

 wish, you can go hiking in the area and do other activities. F.M.A

Our journey today goes into the mighty and beautiful Chuluut Gorge, through which the Chuluut River flows. Then we drive to the small village of Kharkhorin, one of the main tourist attractions in the country. Historically known as Karakorum, it was the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire founded by Chinggis Khan in 1220. And Karakorum was one of the most important cities in the history of the Silk Road.

We visit the Karakorum Museum and learn more about the beautiful ancient city of Karakorum and part of Mongolian history.

Visit to the Erdenezuu Monastery, built in the 16th century and housing 108 Buddhist stupas, the oldest and most magnificent.

We also visit the famous Erdene-Zuu monastery in Karakorum, which was founded in 1586 on the initiative of Avtai Sain Khan and is the oldest center of yellow Buddhism in Mongolia. Excursion to Turtle Hill, located at the exit of the road. In the afternoon we visit a nomadic family, talk to the family and learn about everyday life and in the evening we eat local food with the family.

Today we drive to Hustai National Park. A project to reintroduce Przewalski's horses to the wild has been running in its vicinity for several years. With a bit of luck we can watch the wild horses.

But first, let's visit Elsen Tasarkhai. Although we can't go far to the Gobi, but have the opportunity to visit Sand Dune, camel riding too. It is one of 33 Mongolian Gobi. Very nicely located place.

Drive to Hustai National Park.

Overnight in Ger camp

After a delicious breakfast, we  a Mongolian “live show” at the Mongolian family next to the camp. A great real Mongolian day to be.

Drive to Ulaanbaatar and hotel transfer.
